BBL: The ongoing BBL match between Brisbane Heat and Melbourne Renegades is played at the Caizely’s Stadium, Cairns.
Brisbane Heat captain Jimmy Pearson won the toss and elected to bowl first. Melbourne Renegades benefited massively from the services of Nick Maddison.
The left-handed batsman grabbed headlines yesterday when he initially thought he was out on a hit wicket in the ongoing match.
The left-handed batsman tried to play a low pull shot which brought the bull off the stump. The timing of the fall of the stumps led the same to think that it was an out-hit wicket.
Nick Madison who was confused by him also thought he was out and started walking. however, TV replays suggested otherwise.
The video clip shows that the wind in the pitch forces the bull to fall on the pitch. This incident has gone viral on the internet.
