The ongoing 4-match Test series between Team India and Australia has been a thrilling affair so far. Usman Khawaja was the top-scorer for Australia, with 81 runs off 148 balls. While batting against R Ashwin, Khawaja was seen playing the reverse sweep shot, which caused trouble for the Indian spinners. During this moment, Virat Kohli gave some instructions to Ashwin in Hindi, and Khawaja was able to understand it. The amusing moment left everyone in splits, as Khawaja and Kohli also laughed about it.

Ravindra Jadeja, the Indian all-rounder, achieved a significant milestone in the match by taking his 250th wicket in Tests. He dismissed Usman Khawaja, who missed his century by just 19 runs. Lokesh Rahul took a brilliant catch to send Khawaja back to the pavilion. R Ashwin was the most successful bowler for India, as he took 3 wickets in the innings, while Mohammad Shami and Ravindra Jadeja took 2 and 1 wicket respectively.
At the lunch break on the first day, 3 Australian players were out for just 94 runs, with captain Pat Cummins still on the pitch. Ravichandran Ashwin also achieved a milestone by completing 100 wickets in Border Gavaskar Trophy history, becoming the second player to do so.
