The Indian batter played a crucial role in Delhi’s first innings, contributing to their big total of 223/2. However, it was her dance moves that truly mesmerized the crowd.

Floss and Bhangra Moves

Jemimah’s floss dance, a move that has gained popularity on social media in recent years, was captured on camera by a fan in the stands. She executed the dance move almost perfectly, leaving the crowd in awe.

Later in the game, Jemimah took to bhangra, a traditional Punjabi dance form, to further entertain the crowd. Her infectious energy and impressive dance moves added to the festive atmosphere at the Brabourne Stadium.

Delhi Capitals’ Dominating Performance

The Delhi Capitals put up an impressive performance in their first match of the WPL 2023. Batting first, openers Meg Lanning (72 off 43) and Shafali Verma (84 off 45) provided a solid foundation, adding 162 runs for the opening wicket before both fell in the same over.

Jemimah then combined with Marizanne Kapp (37 off 19) to add another 60 runs off just 31 deliveries, helping Delhi reach a mammoth total of 223/2.

In response, Bangalore got off to a decent start with Sophie Devine and Smriti Mandhana adding 41 runs off the first four overs. However, they couldn’t keep up with the required run rate and lost wickets at regular intervals.
