MS Dhoni came to support Team India in the 1st T20 match against New Zealand at JSCA Stadium.
After winning the ODI series 3-0, Team India took on New Zealand in the first T20I of the 3-match T20I series at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi.
Team India’s legendary captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was present at the stadium to support the Man in Blue and the fans of Ranchi were more than happy to see him on the big screen.
MS Dhoni praised his presence in the IND vs NZ T20I in Ranchi.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the greatest captain in the history of Indian cricket and his fan following is second to none. MS Dhoni belongs to Ranchi and is also known as ‘King of Ranchi’.
Dhoni never misses an opportunity to support the Men in Blue whenever he gets the chance and did so when the Indian team faced New Zealand in the first T20I at the JSCA International Stadium complex in Ranchi.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni along with his wife Sakshi Dhoni came to support the Indian team and appeared on the big screen. As soon as the audience at the JSCA stadium saw it on the big screen, they erupted in slogans of ‘Dhoni Dhoni’.
The cameraman made sure Mahi’s fans got enough time to catch a glimpse of their beloved cricketer and zoomed the camera to bring MS Dhoni in perfect focus. The fans also responded well and with time the slogans of ‘Dhoni Dhoni’ grew.
The veteran captain felt that he has been shown on the big screen and acknowledged the love shown by the fans in Ranchi. MS Dhoni smiled at the camera and pointed towards his fans. A video clip showing Mahendra Singh Dhoni with his wife Sakshi Dhoni at the stadium has now gone viral on social media platforms.

New Zealand’s batsmen did well to post a competitive total of 176-6 on a Ranchi pitch that had some twist and catch for the spinners. India’s spin duo Washington Sundar and Kuldeep Yadav shared three wickets between themselves, while part-time spinner Deepak Hooda also bowled two economical overs.
