Watch Video : BGT 2023 | Rohit Sharma Turns His Stress Into Excitement After DRS Success

The decisions taken on the field often play an important role in deciding the outcome of the game. Mohammed Siraj knows it all because despite his constant reviews, Rohit Sharma trusted him and rightfully took the wicket of Usman Khawaja.

At home, India couldn’t have asked for a better start in the Border-Gaskar Trophy against Australia after losing the toss. The pace duo of Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami dismissed both openers David Warner and Usman Khawaja within the first 13 balls of the innings when Pete Cummins elected to bat. However, the first of the two wickets that Siraj took did not come directly.

Siraj’s opening delivery with a bright red SG cherry was a seven-up outside swinger, which looked open-eyed outside leg stump before Khawaja hit it on the pads. Nevertheless, Siraj made a strong appeal for lbw, which was turned down by on-field umpire Nitin Menon. Siraj convinced Rohit Sharma to take the decision and the Indian skipper decided to go up after a conversation with wicketkeeper KS Bharath in the last minute of the timer, knowing that Siraj had earlier been Waste some DRS.

Replays showed, to the surprise of the players, that the ball had gone inside the line just before hitting the leg stump. Rohit was nervously looking at the big screen and as soon as he saw three red colors, he could not control his excitement and jumped with joy. His teammates were also excited to meet Khawaja so soon, as he had recently won the inaugural Shane Warne Award as Australia’s Men’s Test Player of the Year.

First and gone!

BGT 2023 | Twitter praised Mohammed Shami for cartwheeling Yorker to Dismiss David Warner

Bowlers get immense pleasure and satisfaction when they get batsmen out in certain ways, and watching the stumps fly is one of them. India’s Mohammed Shami was in Feels like in heaven when his vicious length ball from around the wicket delighted David Warner after sending him cartwheeling off-stump.

David Warner failed to contribute much with the bat on Day 1 of the first Test of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Nagpur. The 36-year-old left-handed opener fell for 1 off five balls during the third over of the innings bowled by Mohammed Shami. It was very difficult for Warner to handle, and to be fair, any top batsman would have felt the same way if he had faced a wicketless delivery against Syria.

To Warner’s surprise, Shami went on to bowl around the wicket early in the morning. He pitched it on a good length just outside the off-stump line, and the ball went back to take the inside edge of Warner’s bat before sending him cartwheeling away from the stumps.

Warner was shocked for a while to be dismissed so early, and the Shami was, surprisingly, encouraged to watch his movements. Every Indian player went to congratulate Shami while Warner slowly made his way back to the pavilion. When many predicted that there would be spinners to grab the headlines, Twitteratis were overjoyed to see Shami produce a delivery.

After electing to bat first and scoring 404 in the first innings, India got off to a good start against Bangladesh in the first Test at the Zahoor Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong. They got rid of Najmul Hossain Shanto without troubling the scorers, thanks to a delivery by Mohammed Siraj across the off-stump line that was too hot for the Bangladeshi opener.

Shantu’s leg didn’t move at all before the thick edge hit the inside of the ball, which went out of the hands of wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant. Pant dives to his left and takes a comfortable catch to complete the wicket. 2. BAN vs IND | Mohammed Siraj came out with the best revenge by cleaning up Litton Das after a war of words

Siraj-revenge

Players show their patience and perseverance in Test cricket, and that combination of skills is what separates the greats from the rest. However, after a heated exchange of words with the Indian pacer at Chattogram on Thursday, Litton Das failed to secure his wicket to Mohammad Siraj on the next ball.

After India’s mammoth first innings total of 404, Bangladesh failed to reply in the first Test at the Zahoor Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong. They were down to 39/2 after 13 overs, with Mohammed Siraj and Umesh Yadav doing the best for India. Both wickets fell within four overs when Bangladesh had five runs on board, before Litton Das and Zakir Hasan stabilized the innings.

However, this partnership did not last long, courtesy of a foolishly unnecessary gesture by the Litton Das. The Bangladeshi wicket-keeper batsman defended Mohammad Siraj on the backfoot during the 14th over without scoring any runs. After the ball, Siraj had a few words for Litton Das, to which he responded by pointing, “I didn’t hear anything, what are you saying?”

Siraj didn’t respond to Liton’s gusture and what he did on the next ball got a lot of attention. The right-arm fastball bowled at 141 kmph which was kept down. Liton could not bring his bat down in time as a result of which the ball kept breaking the stumps. Soon after his prized wicket, Siraj put his fingers to his lips to celebrate his wicket.
