Indian cricket team captain, Virat Kohli, is not just known for his impressive skills on the field, but also for his constant verbal chitchats with his teammates to keep them motivated. During the morning session of Day 5 of the fourth test between India and Australia, Virat Kohli had a hilarious conversation with his teammates that was caught on stump mic and went viral on social media.
With Team India looking to finish the test series against Australia on a high note, the Men in Blue secured a healthy first innings lead of 91 runs in the fourth test at Ahmedabad. On Day 5 of the test match, the Indian team was trying to dismiss the Australian side quickly in the second innings. After Ravichandran Ashwin got rid of Aussie spinner Matthew Kuhnemann, Virat Kohli was heard saying, “Dus minute dur hai, plane mein pehle hi baith jaunga. Hein? Plane main udaunga aaj,” while fielding at slips.

Virat Kohli had earlier slammed 186 runs off 386 balls on Day 4 of the fourth test, allowing Team India to get a convincing lead against Australia in the first innings. This was his first test ton after more than three years, which must have been a relief for him.

Despite Kohli’s heroics, the test match is heading towards a draw, as the Aussies have made a positive start on the final day of the match. While the Indian team did get rid of Kuhnemann quickly, the pair of Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne settled themselves well on the flat Ahmedabad wicket.
The Men in Blue have already qualified for the World Test Championship final after New Zealand defeated Sri Lanka by 2 wickets in Christchurch. While it looks difficult for them to seal a victory in the fourth test, the Indian team will be looking to finish the series on a high note with a draw or win.
